What do we need as actors and directors to prepare thoroughly and with enthusiasm? One of the crucial steps we take is to split up the text into BEATS and ACTIONS. We find out who the character is, where and when the scene takes place, what it is about, what the objective and super-objective of the scene is, and what the character does to get it. And on we go!
We watch material of other actors in films you might know or might not and find out what THEIR beat changes and actions were. And in the following days you try out and find YOUR style and fantasy to do it. I will provide you with the text. Each actor gets the chance to work every day.
